Before I met Michael from Nuumath I had three other tutors, none of which were very helpful. The first day he came he was very friendly and made sure I understood everything. His teaching methods are very clear and effective. If you do not understand something he will try using another method and work with you until you understand. After just a couple weeks with Michael my test scores increased drastically, and I was getting 15-25 % higher on my exams. He is very knowledgeable and just a great person. He has been my most helpful tutor and I would recommend him to anyone in need of one.

We were introduced to Nuumath in 2013 and haven't looked back. Our son's grades improved greatly and we decided to keep going all through high school. I would hear our son explain an issue he was having and within a minute or two after Michael explained it differently our son immediately "got it"! That was not the case with past tutors with multiple credentials! Our son's math grades were all A's, a far cary from the kid who prior to Michael experienced fluctuating grades of all types. Michael definitely has the teaching gift and is able to understand each child's needs and interests.

My experience with Michael was a great one. I've had many other tutors in the past, but there is just something about the way he explains and breaks down problems that makes it very easy to understand. Great person in general, I would definitely recommend him.

I was struggling in my Alg. II/Trig class, just going through the motions and barely skating by tests and quizzes. My parents saw my struggle and had told me to get a tutor. I finally decided to start working with Michael and it changed my life. Michael changed the way I learned, the way I studied, but most importantly, he changed my grade. We met on a weekly basis and I just told him what I didn't understand. He didn't think of me as any less of a person and just wanted to help me be the best me. My grade went from an F to passing with a B, and I owe all of that success to Nuumath.

Nuumath got me through college Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus I with A's and B's. This was crucial for me to transfer to USC. I now attend my dream school, which Nuumath was a huge part of. My tutor Michael was fully dedicated to my particular needs. He knew exactly what us students go through taking such courses. That feeling of leaving a 2 hour class having so many unanswered questions was no longer overwhelming as Michael could summarize an entire lecture's worth of material or more in a single session. He explains things clearly and concisely, and that's why I succeeded.

Of all the tutors I had throughout high school, Michael from Nuumath was the one I was able to learn from the most. He tutored me for 2 years in all different types of math and never left a session until he felt that I understood the work being done. He was also always available whether it was a weekly scheduled session or on a "let me know basis". I would highly recommend Nuumath to anyone struggling in math because they will help you no matter what.

Nuumath is a lifesaver. I began tutoring with Michael my freshman year of high school. I was struggling in my math class and not understanding the material the way my teachers were presenting it. My first two years in high school I was struggling heavily in academics. As unfortunate as it was, college was almost out of the question due to how math kept me back until I started getting tutored by Michael my sophomore year. He was an amazing tutor, after every math test I had I remember him texting me asking how I did. He was actually someone who cared which I needed at that time in my life. With the help of Michael, my C's and D's in math turned to A's. After that, my 2.2 GPA my sophomore year went to a 3.6 GPA throughout my junior and senior year. What I'm trying to say is Michael is a great guy who's great at what he does and anybody would be lucky to have him as their tutor.

My daughter Kirstee began her tutoring lessons with Michael five years ago. She was struggling in her high school math class and had no idea how she was going to pass. Thankfully, Michael had recently begun Nuumath, and was available to help. He tailored his tutoring methods to her way of learning and taught her the concepts and formulas in a way that she could understand. Michael's patient and friendly teaching style helped her excel in math throughout high school and college. I would highly recommend Nuumath to any student struggling with math at any level.

I've gone through many tutors throughout my academic endeavors and Michael was by far the best math tutor I ever had. He was extremely flexible when it came to working around my schedule and didn't cancel once throughout the entire year that he tutored me, He's able to make hard concepts seem like a piece of cake and because of this, my grade greatly improved. I can definitely say that if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have passed my Pre-Calc class. Most importantly, however, you can tell that tutoring isn't just a job to him, it's his passion.

Michael from Nuumath is fantastic! I decided to start with him after I got a C in Honors Algebra I. Next semester, I finished with a solid A in the class. I owe this all to Michael who helped me explore new ways of looking at problems. It really helps that he went through these classes and shows "the easy way" of doing difficult problems. He is very understanding of his student's learning pace and does a great job adjusting to it. His videos are a LIFE-SAVER when you are studying for an exam.
